Aulani resorts close to resort closures after coronavirus outbreak

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) Some resorts are closing their doors after coronas were detected in three states.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the first three states with confirmed coronaviruses are: California, New York and Texas.

The CDC says that while some resort areas may reopen as soon as Monday, others may have to stay closed through Tuesday.

Officials with the Hawaii National Park and the Hawaiian Islands Tourism Authority say they are working to determine how to reopen all of the more than 1,600 vacation sites in the islands.
